Four footloose months ahead and trying to travel light. Looking possible though some art gear ain't gonna fit. Tomorrow: Last day at work, house sitter arrives, one further night shift for Phil. Then London bound via a couple of nights in Bangkok.

Prelude 1
10 week countdown. Plenty to prepare for a 4 month absence from our kiwi home base. This week we have selected and met our house sitter cum cat whisperer. A new relationship begins, in hopeful anticipation of a mutually beneficial arrangement.
UK Itinerary needs some thought and airfares to France bought. Some research now required (in conjunction with London-based daughter Sarah) as time permits. There are maps over the lounge floor which Dimitri our cat believes are for his comfort. Lovely to recently catch up with Jill and Malcolm, who put us on to this Dordogne-based sojourn. Then an opportunity to meet and host our hosts-to-be when they passed through last weekend. We look forward to getting to know Frances and Piers further on their turf, near Perigueux.
